If you are planning to or you have already started running a Tech Company then you need to know that without social media marketing, your online marketing campaign will never be completed. Not only that you need to implement best search engine optimization techniques but you also need to start social media marketing as well. While working with different clients I have realized that there are certain people who are dependent on search engine traffic, certain that are dependent on social media traffic and only a few who get traffic from both sources, search engines and social media. Those who work on both ends always are the successful business people online. Your customers spend less time on your website as compared to the time they spend on social media websites so, you better go there and interact with them properly.
Below, I’m going to share a really impressive social media marketing strategy that you can also implement and get success with your startup Tech business. Two terms that are used in marketing are B2C (business to customer) and B2B (business to business) and these are the same terms that we will also be using in social media marketing strategy as well.
B2C Social Media Marketing
If you are running a tech company that is selling consumer related products or providing services to consumers then your social media marketing strategy will be different. In this strategy, you will be emphasizing on sharing such information through social media platforms that can keep your consumers busy on your profile. Let’s say that you are using Facebook as your main social media marketing tool, you will be required to make a Facebook page for your business and put as much information about the products you sell or services you provide as possible. Next step, you will need to market that page just like you market your products and services online. The more fan base you will collect on your page, the more business you will generate from Facebook. You can apply same policy to other social media networks like Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest etc.
B2B Social Media Marketing
B2B social media marketing is much different from B2C social media marketing. In this campaign, you will not be targeting a common user or a consumer because your products/ services or not for them. Though you will be required to make a presence on all major social media websites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest etc. but your marketing style will be different. Businesses don’t like to be addressed as consumers because if they start working with you, you will be getting a lot of business from one single company. So, you need to give them respect, share only useful information on your social media profiles, and ask questions that make sense and not the fluff questions just to amuse the fans because serous businesses don’t have time to get into useless debate over a Facebook thread or Tweet. Offer benefits for your customers and make sure that you only provide value and quality information.
