Samsung Galaxy Tab 3

Though many people are not into tabs these days but still they are one of the new technologies so they are somewhat in the limelight. Samsung hasn’t been very good with the sizes previously. The example is Galaxy note which is extremely difficult to handle. But this time it seems some one has finally mentioned it to the Samsung so it has taken the size into account. Samsung announced its latest tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, in June 2013.

Best Feature:

The best part of owning this tab is its handy size which is easy to carry around, and lets you use it in all the awkward positions. You can hold it easily with just one hand.

Body and Display:

Galaxy Tab is available in two sizes 10.1 and 8 inches. But we will focus of 8 inches tab. The aspect ratio 16:10 is great. It has got a TFT capacitve multi-touch screen, featuring 800*1280 pixels that is approximately 189 pixels per inch. The pixel density is a minor setback moreover the looks are not very impressive either. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is available in two colors:- the standard white color and gold.

Other Features of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3:

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 has Android 4.2.2 (jellybean) powering it up. There are three different versions: Wi-Fi, 3G and LTE. Camera gives 5 MP lense and autofocus, LED flash and auto-focus. It gives images with pixel density of 2560*1920. It has a secondary camera for 1.3 MP. It also has video recording at 30 fps. Dual core 1.5 GHz processor’s speed is fair enough. The battery time takes you through  whole day with moderate usage. It has an internal 1.5 GB RAM. It also gives 16 GB or 32 GB built in memory and a micro SD card slot that can take 64 GB SSD cards.

Samsung’s major competition is with Apple. But Apple won the battle this time by bringing out the iPad Mini. Samsung’s tab gives many features but iPad gives more than this. The Galaxy Tab 3’s look is not very classy. The silver border and round corners are just not the right shape for a tablet.
