Since a long time Samsung has been producing some gigantic smartphones and the industry is becoming scarier day by day. There was a time  when Samsung launched its Samsung Galaxy S2 and it was considered as the largest smartphone in market. People thought it will not be a big success but as it turns out, not only S2 did a great business but Samsung Galaxy S3 also made people go crazy. Finally, we have Samsung Galaxy S4 in market this year and it is doing great for the company. S4 has a 5 inch display screen which is bigger than any other smartphone in the market. However, Samsung has come up with a new flagship device and the name of this device is Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. Yes, you guessed it right. 6.3 is actually the screen size of this phablet and if you are crazy for large screen phones then Galaxy Mega is designed for you.

Obviously, when it comes to Samsung Mega 6.3, the first thing that will catch your eyes is its gigantic screen size of 6.3 inches. It has got a full-HD TFT display. Keep in mind that S4 and Note 3 both use AMOLED panel but it is not used in Mega 6.3. I personally like a bright and sharp screen and that is the same result offered by Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3.

The overall design of Mega resembles with Galaxy S4. Keep in mind that S4 has got a 5-inch display screen but that display size compared with 6.3 inches of Mega is nothing in this world. The handset is quite heavy too and it has got sharp edges. It simply means that if you through this handset at someone intentionally, you can actually hurt them. The screen size has been limit to 6.3 inches by Samsung and I believe they have learned the lesson from Asus as they introduced the 7 inches Fonepad a short while ago. That launch by Asus was a big failure for the company.

Other Features

If you are curious about the OS used in Galaxy Mega 6.3 then it is quite obvious that a smartphone by Samsung will never come without Android OS. In this phone, you will find Android OS version 4.2 Jelly Bean. The OS has been tweaked by Samsung to meet the requirements of its phone but luckily, they haven’t killed the charm of Jelly Bean this time.

Due to its resemblance with Samsung Galaxy S4, you might think that everything is the same. Well, the OS is same, the UI is same and the design is same. If there is any difference between S4 and Mega then it is of screen size and type.

Mega uses a large replaceable battery having 3,200mAh capacity. It is good news for those people who often have to change their smartphone when the battery runs dry because their phone has got an irreplaceable battery. You will find the microSD slot just above the microSIM slot. This is where things become a little messy but still, Mega 6.3 is a good option. There is no spring mechanism so removing Micro-SIM card can be a little difficult.
