Motorola RAZR HD – Specs

Remember Motorola? Well if not then it is here to remind you of all those flipping handsets. Motorola has released its latest Smartphone – Motorola RAZR HD. It might not be amazing but the specs are fair enough. This Smartphone will have to compete with a lot of great deals in the market.

Design and Display:

As far as the body is concerned, the material is same as the previous version RAZR i. The material is tough but has a soft rubber like touch. The material does not interfere with the wireless signals like metal but sure gives the durability of metal. Well it’s not completely missing the metallic touch, it has a metallic border. The handset is thin with only 9 mm thickness. It is also partly water proof or what Motorola likes to call it ‘Splash Proof’. It has a 4.7 inches OLED touch screen. The pixel density is not a surprise. It’s just the same usual 720*1280 pixels. The contrast is sharp and bright which gives a great experience while moving through the display. The Smartphone is available in two colors, Black and White.

Motorola RAZR HD has a regular 8 MP camera with LED flash and auto focus ability. It has a secondary 1.3 MP camera. The rear camera has a resolution of 3264*2448 pixels.

Other Features:

The operating software supported by this Smartphone is 4.0.4 (ice cream sandwich) which is up gradable to 4.1 (jellybean). It has a non-removable battery. It also has SD card slot and micro SIM slot which can be opened with pin. The handset can be directly connected to HD TV using HDMI port. It has 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. It also supports an SD card up to 32 GB. It has 1.5 GHz dual core processor.

To conclude this phone has some good selling points like its colorful display, tough Kevlar body and long battery life. But at the same time it has some issues when it comes to compete with other big guns in the market. The price is also a little high which is a great set back when it comes to sales. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, and we get a commission on purchases made through our links.
