Microsoft Surface Pro Specs

These days Android and Apple is taking up most of the market, but Microsoft with its Windows is here to show them who is the boss. Microsoft has released its new tablet which is easily portable – Microsoft Surface Pro. It is the revised version of previous installment Microsoft Surface. Though the new Pro version is missing few of the changes we were expecting, but it is still better than its predecessor.

Design and Body:

All the expectations of a slimmer version have been ruled out. The new Surface Pro is same in size and looks as RT version. Microsoft should have taken into account the thickness. At present it is 14 mm thick. The market offers much slimmer tablets like Xperia Z. It has a metallic body, a stand and a keypad (touch or buttons) that sticks to it magnetically, so that you can use it like a computer while typing.

Display and Stylus:

The 10.6 inches touch screen is a complete joy to use. And it is probably the best features that pops out. The display has been upgraded to full HD. It has multi touch screen that can sense up to ten fingers. The surprise that comes with Microsoft Surface Pro is the stylus that has made it wonderfully easier to take notes and draw. This pen can sneak into the power socket when not in use.

Performance and Other Features:

Well, the basic reason why everyone was waiting for Microsoft Surface Pro was to have a full Windows 8 version. Undoubtedly the beautiful sharp screen with great contrast let you take a complete advantage of this feature. The tablet has Intel core i5 processor and a 4 GB RAM so you can work swiftly without chances of slow speed. The battery is not much impressive. It only works for 3 hours of continuous usage.

It has got all the advantages of Windows 8. It has got thousands of apps and Bitlocker security for you hard drive. Surface Pro is a tablet and a computer combined. It gives you the quality of iPad but in addition it allows you to use Microsoft Office which is of course a more common and user friendly option. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, and we get a commission on purchases made through our links.
