LG is producing and shipping its smartphones at very fast pace and one thing that must be admitted is that, most of those smartphones are really great. However, LG is not still able to cover the market properly but we are assuming it will happen very soon. This new smartphone that we are going to review from LG is not a high-end smartphone but a medium-end smartphone.
There are many good things about LG Venice like it has got a beautiful and elegant hardware design, a 1GHz CPU is included in the smartphone that provides a good support and another thing that I really liked was its call quality. You may not like the audio speaker of this device as the sounds coming out are not pleasing due to tiny speaker size, the camera’s auto white balance is not that good too and it runs only on 3G networks. If you want to use a 4G LTE device then this is not the one for you.
LG Venice is no different from so many other smartphones that are already available in the market. It has a 1 GHz processor, a 4.3 inch display screen and a 5 megapixel camera which is not a big deal for any smartphone these days. While you may not really like this device, many other people may want to get their hands on it. So, you never know what will happen with devices like this. One thing that may attract you towards this handset is its design. By look, it seems really impressive and you would want to get your hands on it for sure. The smartphone is priced at $220 which is no very high but yet not low enough. I guess, if you would ever pay this much price for this smartphone then it will be for its looks and not for the specs.
If you look at other smartphone models introduced by LG like LG Optimus 7 or LG Splendor then LG Venice looks more decent and elegant. It has got a better looking design and color combination on body is also really great. With a 4.3 inch display screen, the total length of this smartphone is 4.92-inches, the width is 2.64-inch and the depth of this smartphone is 0.34-inch. The weight is only 4.41 ounces so you can hold it easily in one hand and keep it in pocket easily too.
Features and OS
The operating system used in this smartphone is Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich and many other Google products are already included in the smartphone for you use. Looking at the configuration of this phone, I don’t think that it will get upgraded to Android 4.1 or 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It supports Google play store so if there is any app that is not already installed in the smartphone then you can find it from play store and install it in your device.
The only drawback for me is; this device doesn’t support any other data network other than 3G. What do you think about this device?
