Huawei Prism II – Review


After being announced in the month of March this year, the new Huawei made smart phone with the name of Prism II will finally be released for sale at T-Mobile.


Some of its amazing specs are:


It is a smart phone with the dimensions of 4.6 x 2.44 x 0.49 inches or in other dimensions 117 x 62 x 12 mm. It weighs about 3.88 oz which is a lot less than the average weight of smart phones in the market these days.


It has a 3.5 inches LCD touch screen with supports multi touch. It has a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 165 ppi. It also has light sensors and proximity sensor.


It has a 1750 mAh battery with 7 hours talk time (which is less than average i.e. 10 hours) and a stand by time of 10 days (which is also than the average of 18 days).


It has a single core 1000 MHz, ARM Cortex-A5 processor that is also aided by a graphics processor. It has a system memory of 512 MB. Apart from that it has a build in storage of 4 GB which is able to be expanded by simple addition of microSD, microSDHC cards.


It has a 3.2 mega pixels camera with digital zoom at its rear. It does not have a front facing camera.


It will run on Android 4.1 (jelly bean).

Availability and price

It is available on T-Mobile’s online stores and soon on the stores throughout the America at a price of $149.99 without any contract price. It is nice to know that this entry level Prism II id very affordable and is bound to be a real success.

Pros and Cons

It is a very affordable and handy phone, very light in weight and slim to hold.

On the down side it has a low pixels density screen and a low resolution camera which lacks auto focus, flash.
