In some cases, they will temporarily lock the account and ask you to provide some required information. However, in many cases they will not let you access your account for a specific time period. Prevention is better than cure so it is recommended to use your real information in your Facebook account, make sure not to violate the Facebook’s policies and most importantly, don’t give anyone access to your account because in most of the cases, friends or hackers are the reason for getting a Facebook account locked temporarily.

Open the Facebook homepage from where you login to your account. There you will find different options but you should click on “Search”. Here you will see many other options from which you should click on the link “I cannot identify my account” and after that, you will be required to click on “Submit”. This is the easiest way to get help from Facebook for unlocking your account. You can use this option even if you don’t remember your email and password.
You will be presented with CAPTCHA letters and numbers, make sure to enter them correctly. In next step, you will be required to click on “Identify your account.” Now click on “This is my account” and continue to change your password as guided by Facebook.
Facebook will send a password reset code to your provided email address or phone number. Make sure to enter the email address and phone number that is in your use right now. Click on “Reset Code” and a new code will be sent to your email address or mobile number.
Check your email and mobile phone for a reset code by Facebook and then enter that code in “Enter password reset code” field. Click on “Submit Code” and then you will be required to enter a new password to get access to your account.
