So you have just come to know that for some security reasons, your Facebook account has been temporarily unlocked? Well, you are not the only one who is going to have this experience because these days, many people are suffering with same problem. Either there is some serious trouble going on at Facebook end or you have offended Facebook authorities in some way that they have been tempted to lock your account temporarily. In most of the cases, a person who has got his/ her account locked doesn’t know the exact reason and that is mostly because Facebook’s message shows nothing but “Your account has been temporarily locked due to security reasons.” What security reasons? Nobody knows clearly. With some research, I have come up with a few reasons for which a Facebook account can get temporarily locked.
Not using your original display picture
You may not be that good looking but it doesn’t mean that by putting a gorgeous picture of some celebrity will help you survive in social media. By using some fake display picture, not only you damage your image but you also lose credibility too. The end result is; Facebook may lock your account and ask you to put up a real display picture for security.
Your provided address is not valid
Not all of us want to display our real living address on Facebook. Well, if you so much of that private kind of person and you don’t want to disclose such information in front of people on Facebook then a good idea will be to change your privacy settings. Facebook is becoming smarter day by day and now, they want you to provide an address that is real and can be verified easily. If they suspect that you’re provided address is fake they will not waste any more time to lock your account.
Not using your real name
Come on, do you really think that using a name like Prince Charming will help you find a beautiful life partner on Facebook? Believe me; such names are only good to find those ugly girls that have their names on Facebook as Cinderella or Annie Princess. So, be real and don’t hide who you are. Again, if you don’t want to expose your very personal information then Facebook offers privacy settings with the help of which you can easily hide any information from your profile with a few clicks.
Not using your real date of birth
Here is another offence that you can commit while on Facebook. Keep in mind that Facebook is now looking to clear its network and they will not tolerate anyone using fake information. So, try to make sure that you are using your real date of birth. If in verification process, your date of birth conflicts with other information provided by you, they will not ask you and lock your account unless you provide with real information.
The end result of all this discussion is that; if you want to keep sailing in Facebook ship then you have got to provide your real and legit information. Don’t make them drop you in widespread dead Blue Ocean.
