If you are one of those people who cannot live without Twitter then you should definitely install the native Twitter app in your android smartphone. I personally use the official Twitter application but I’m also in search of new third party apps as well. The good thing about third party twitter apps is that, they make your life easier. The official apps don’t offer so many features and customization options as third party apps do. In this post, I’m going to review another beautiful Twitter application called TweetLine.
One thing that I really liked about TweetLine is that, it takes a totally different approach towards using Twitter as compared to other apps serving the same purpose. There are no complicated screens or over crowded timelines that will make your life really difficult. The interface is really easy to use and you will definitely love it. Not only you can customize the columns on screen but you can also customize the colors as well.
Very Nice Interface
The first thing that anyone will notice about TweetLine is its interface. Unlike other Twitter apps, the interface of this app doesn’t offer complications to a user. One can easily find his way around this application. The basic functionality of the app is not different from official Twitter app or other third party apps but it is the interface of this app that makes it stand out in the crowd.
Columns and Timeline
You will find the action bar at bottom of the screen that will make your life a lot easier. There are no special icons to help you get to different sections on your profile like tweets, mentions, interactions, retweets, favorites etc. All you have to do is to swipe your finger along the screen and you will be taken to a new screen with your desired information. There are certain buttons available in this app that help you write a new tweet or access some other advanced functions. You can go into columns manager, search function, mentions and your profile with those buttons. If you will enter the columns manager, it will help you make new columns or arrange the previous ones. There was a time when TweetDeck was considered best for this job but not anymore.
As soon as you will tap on a tweet in android, a new window will appear giving you different options about retweeting, quoting or favoriting the tweet. Instead, you will be taken to a new window where more advanced options will be available. You can write a reply from the same screen or perform different actions on the same tweet very easily too. The TweetLine is surely bringing revolution in the lives of Twitter Fanatics.
As I said earlier, TweetLine is not just another twitter app but it can be customized as well. You can change the color scheme of your app very easily. There is no one stopping you from changing colors of your app. You can change the color of entire theme or just the action bar as well.
