Looks like we are going back to the starting days of technology when we had huge mobile phones who hardly fitted in our pocket or purses. Well Samsung is here with a new breed of Smartphones-Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 -The Giant Smartphone. There are a lot of Galaxy phones in the market and we don’t think that there was a need to bring one more. But since it is here so we need to review it.
Body and Display of Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 -The Giant Smartphone:
The size is obviously the biggest feature in it, and don’t refer biggest as the best. It has a display of 6.3 inches which makes it a younger brother of a tablet and an elder brother of a Smartphone (that might actually look smart while carrying around). The display is greater than Galaxy note. The body is made of plastic so forget about the metallic luster. But it has a metallic border running on the four sides. However it’s sleek with just 8 mm thickness. What so ever the set is difficult to handle and way easier to drop. The thumb feels uncomfortable while reaching the screen. This Smartphone is available in three colors : White, Black, Plum Purple.
Software and Processor:
Like all other Galaxy Smartphones, this one also runs on Android 4.2.2 (jellybean). It has 1.7 GHz Dual-core processor. A lot of apps and software are available for the phone. Google gives Google maps, Gmail, Google Plus, Google Play store, Google Talk and Google Places.
Camera and Memory:
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has 8 MP camera. The resolution is great with 3264*2248 pixels. The camera comes with auto focus ability, LED flash light and face detection. It also has a secondary camera of 1.9 MP. It has a slot for micro SSD card upto 64 GB. It has two options of internal memory, either 8 or 16 GB. It has 1.5 GB RAM.
This enormous Smartphone gives 17 hours of talk time.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is not going to create much of a buzz. It is not very advance when it comes to specs but it has got a huge size and screen. It will attract the consumers who are fond of tablet like mobiles and don’t consider them a burden on hands.advertisement i am sure i missed something. Love to hear from you.
