The newest gaming wonder in the market these days is the brand new Razer 14-inch blade. Wondering what it is?
The new Razer 14- inch blade is a 14-inch ultra book supporting a distinct Nvidia GTX graphics card. Chiefly it is the smallest and the most powerful gaming laptop out there in the market.
This includes a next generation Haswell Intel processor, 8GM DDR3 RAM, a Nvidia GTX 765M ( 2 GB GDDR5 memory) and an Intel HD 4600 graphics and a powerful battery to keep in running for 6 hours straight.
It will be a 14-inch gaming laptop and is a great degree slimmer than its predecessor. It weighs about 4.135 pounds and 16.8mm thick. To sum it all up this new laptop has a thin but a very traditional design.
They keyboard is backlit with the standard key layout without a numeric keypad. The left and right side of the key board is lined with stereo speakers.
It comes in a matte-black, with a wider base.
As told earlier the screen is 14 inch and has a 1600 x 900 pixels resolution. A 1.3 Mega pixel camera is mounted on the top.
It is equipped with 4.0 Bluetooth and also has Wi-fi connectivity options.
There are a few downsides to this 14 inch version of Razer blade. The major one is that it is not Retina Display competitive and is not 1080p and the image is not as crisp as expected.
Also there are not enough ports. It has just 3 USB ports and a HDMI port. User is not provided with Ethernet, or SD card slot or even an optical drive. The unavailability of ethernet causes great problem during heavy downloading and streaming.
The price of this laptop starts at $1800 and rises up as you upgrade from 128 GB SSD to 256 GB or 512 GB.
