As a business owner, your main goal is to increase your sales. There is no use of running a business, if people are not buying your products. If during last month, 100 people bought your product then your goal should be to sell the same product to more than 100 people this month. This is how businesses work. You have to bring improvement in your sales while maintaining the quality of your products. There are certain tricks that you can use to increase your sales during special events.
All you have to do is to send your customers an email or a text message on a special event. This will get them thinking about you and your company. As a result, they will definitely buy something from you because you are being so nice to them.
Below are some of the special events on which you can send a greetings email or text message to your customers.
Public Holiday – Increase Your Sales
Public holidays are the time when you should be having fun with your family but you should not also forget that your customers are also your family too. While you are wishing best of luck to your family members, don’t forget to greet your customers on such day too. If you run a local business, sending a greetings email become a lot easier for you. However, if your customers are spread all over the world then keep in mind to wish them a public holiday only when it is happening in their country too. Obviously, a customer sitting in UK has nothing to do with American Independence day. You should be aware about the geographic positioning of your customers and send them emails in accordance to their countries.
Religious Holidays/ Festivals
Religious festivals are another reason to get in touch with your customers. Just like public holidays, you should be very careful while wishing a religious holiday to your customers. You are not supposed to wish Happy Eid to a customer who has Christian beliefs and similarly, a Muslim customer may not like to be wished Happy Christmas either. You should know about the religious beliefs of your customers and if you are not sure about them, avoid sending any religious wishing emails to any of your customers.
We often send a form to our customers via email in which they have to fill their personal information like First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Date of Birth and Home Address etc. If you have birthday information of all your customers, you should take advantage of that information. There are only a few companies that wish happy birthday to their customers because they are usually so buys with daily work that they cannot even remember the birthdays. All you have to do is to add the birthdays of all your customers in a calendar so you can be reminded about all those customers who have a birthday on current date.
