Not a long time ago, HTC introduced its latest and most advanced smartphone called HTC One in the market. However, keeping the branding principles in mind, HTC has also introduced some sub models of its new flagship device too. In today’s post we are going to review the latest smartphone by HTC called HTC one SV.
The Basics About HTC One SV
HTC One SV has got a thin body, a very stylish look and a very fast processor. You will also enjoy free Muve Music service on this handset as well. One thing that I noticed while using this phone is that, its screen and camera don’t have very sharp resolution. The call quality of the phone is disappointing. The camera is loaded with all latest features but still it takes very mediocre photos. Overall performance of HTC One SV is good because it has got a fast processor and it looks good too because of thin body and sharp edges.
The HTC One SV Design and Build
Design and Build of a smartphone may not be the first thing that you notice while making a purchase but it is something that cannot be ignored. The good news for looks and beauty fanatics is that, HTC One SV is equipped with really beautiful design with sharp edges and stylish look. You will not be disappointed while holding this phone in your hands. The screen size of HTC One SV is 4.3 inches which may be smaller for many android users but it works fine for most of the people. The screen resolution of the smartphone is 800×400 pixels and it has got a LCD screen. The pixel count of HTC One SV is quite lower as compared to other HD screen smartphones.
Software and User Interface
Another important thing to consider about any smartphone is its operating system/ Software and UI. HTC One SV is running on Android 4.04 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) at the moment. A modern UI has been installed in this smartphone by HTC that makes it more attractive and beautiful. The only problem with the OS of HTC One SV is that, it is not the latest OS of Android. I would have rated this device much higher only if it had the latest version of Android OS 4.1 or above Jelly Bean. Still, the OS and UI of this phone are cool and it will offer you a great deal of fun and amusement.
Just like other Android Smartphones by HTC, you will find all major Google apps pre-installed in this device too. You will get Gmail, Google+, Chrome, Google Maps, Google Location, Navigation and some other basic apps. You can also install any app from the play store in your smartphone.
I would say that HTC One SV is truly a good smartphone but only for those who are looking to buy a mediocre device. If you are one of those people who always like to use high-tech gadgets then you better go for HTC One.
