Twitter is a great social network giant of this era, anyone use it a lot to stay in touch with friends and family. You often use some applications and games that require a connection with Twitter, after sometime connect to an application for just one time and don’t use it any more. For instance, party iOS and Android apps. When you stop using that third party application, your connection remains intact between that application and Twitter.
So these third parties still access your account which is dangerous, your important information could be hijacked. The good thing is that Twitter has made it easier to deal with this problem. If you want to revoke or remove these applications from your Twitter account then follow these steps…
Open Twitter webpage and log into your account as usual.
Click on ‘Settings’ from the top right side of the page.
Select “Apps” from setting menu
You will find a list of all applications linked to your account. If you do not have any application then a message will appear that ‘No application have been approved to use your account’. Or Click the ‘Revoke Access’ button next to each application that you wish to remove. Repeat the same step for each application removal.
That’s it these unwanted applications are removed from your Twitter account.
