Asus has lately been releasing a wide range of tablets of various sizes, shapes, colors and purposes. Asus MeMo Pad FHD 10 is one of Asus’s tablets but it is different from other Asus’s products.
It is a 10 inch tab with Android 4.2 as its operating system. It features a HD screen with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and an IPs display and an impressively wide viewing angle of 178 degree. It has fairly good quality stereo speakers. Apart from all this it contains 1.6 GHz, Atom Z2560 processor and a RAM of 2 GB. Like many other devices it also comes in two versions ie 16GB and 32 GB which can be expanded according to user’s wish through simple addition of a microSD card.
Speaking of its design, it following the trend of being as thin as possible as it is very slim and only 0.37 inch thick. The back panel of this tab has a “micro-weave finish”. It comes in blue, white and pink color. It carries a 5 MP camera at its back and a 1.2 MP camera at its front like most of the devices coming out in market these days.
This model is being altered a bit and the new LTE version is expected to come out in the third quarter of this year that is 2013. This new version will host a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU instead of the usual Intel x 86 chips what is present in the Wi-Fi version. The introduction of new processor will be promising this tab average midrange specifications.
This tab appears to be the upgraded version of Memo Pad Smart 10. All the weak point of Memo Pad Smart 10 are mended in this new version of tab that is currently under discussion. Since Memo Pad Smart 10 had a very budget friendly price so it is expected that MeMo Oad FHD 10 will also be very affordable. Apart from that nothing can be said for as long as the price is officially announced.
